Highlighting Grahame Park’s rich heritage has always been at the centre of our regeneration aims. The local area has strong links to RAF history, as the nearby RAF Museum sits on the site of the old Hendon aerodrome base. Grahame Park residents are proud of this heritage, and it has always been reflected in many of the names of roads and buildings on the estate.

Our work in the community

Our work is not just about homes, we invest in our residents’ present and future. Our regeneration social and economic investment programme, Make it Happen, has a focus on empowering and enriching our residents through a range of services and interventions.

Uplifting our Grahame Park residents through increasing access to opportunities is central to our work, and we are proud to have social economic investment at the forefront of our regeneration.

Make it Happen works with various partners to support local people in accessing appropriate services, skills and training tailored to their needs. They also work to meet individual needs, ambitions, and aspirations. This means:

  • Providing support through our MIH partners at the Old Library who help with employment, apprenticeships, skills, and training programmes.
  • Improving the prospects of local residents by supporting and nurturing their enterprise and business start-up ambitions through the Grahame Park Business Incubator @20 The Concourse.
  • Working with community organisations to deliver local initiatives for both young people as well as our older residents.
  • Providing extra support for those who are particularly vulnerable or hardest to reach.
