Love Where You Live fund resources
The Love Where You Live fund is a housing fund set up to deliver improved social and economic wellbeing of the communities we serve and help tackle the challenges our residents face which meet at least one of our four priorities.
We work together with charities and not-for-profit organisations, as well as voluntary tenants and residents associations (TRAs) to improve our residents' lives and positively impact their communities.
The projects we fund meet at least one of our four themes:
- Financial resilience
- Health and Wellbeing
- Safety/reduce ASB and increase community cohesion
- Enhancing our places
How can I apply?
Applications are now open for this year’s Love Where You Live Fund which now covers all tenures – placeholding, leasehold and temporary housing. The only exclusion is supported housing, which has its own funds.
Please note:
- Grants for small projects (£1,500 and under) can only be applied for by resident groups and staff. We will only pay community/ business bank accounts, not individual or personal accounts.
- Larger projects needing grants (between £1,500 and £20,000) can only be applied for by the partner delivering the service.
These applications require a project sponsor and external partner to ensure the greatest chance of a successful project that significantly improves our residents’ community and wellbeing.
Further guidance
Sponsors are internal members of staff, typically housing officers, who can advise the partner on their community and are responsible for promoting the project to residents in the community to drive its success.
Partners are external organisations experienced with bidding for funding and delivering projects. They will be responsible for delivering the service to residents directly, collating information and providing case studies.
Application forms can be found below and are reviewed regularly by the Tenancy Sustainment Team.
