At Notting Hill Genesis, we aim to engage with our community through various social media channels. Our goal is to communicate effectively with individuals, families, and communities about our services, updates, and initiatives.

We highly value your feedback and encourage constructive conversations. However, to maintain a respectful and relevant community, we will remove posts that do not adhere to our guidelines or the terms of use of each social network.

Guidelines for Engagement

Please do:

  • Follow the terms of use of each social media platform (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram) as well as our own guidelines.
  • Share information that you are comfortable making public.
  • Keep your posts relevant to the topic of discussion.
  • Use appropriate language at all times.
  • Share our posts with your friends and family to spread the word.

Please don’t:

  • Share personal information such as phone numbers or addresses.
  • Post content that is unlawful, defamatory, embarrassing, damaging to someone’s reputation, libelous, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, sexually oriented, or racially offensive.
  • Bully, harass, or intimidate any individual or organisation.
  • Spam or troll our social media accounts with persistent negative or abusive comments designed to provoke a response.
  • Post the same message repeatedly.
  • Promote or advertise other services on our channels.

We reserve the right to remove any posts that violate these guidelines or are deemed inappropriate. Repeat offenders may be blocked or reported to the social media platform.

Monitoring and Response

Our social media channels are monitored Monday to Friday during normal working hours. We strive to read all messages and respond when appropriate, but please understand that we may not be able to reply to every message. For personalised advice or urgent matters, please contact us or your local officer directly.

Likes, Follows, and Shares

We selectively follow, like, and share content that we believe will be of interest to our community. This does not imply endorsement of the content or its originators. We appreciate your understanding that we cannot honour every request to follow, like, or share.

Reporting Inappropriate Content

If you encounter any content or comments on our social media channels that you believe violate these guidelines, the platform’s terms and policies, or our website’s terms and conditions, please report it to us at communications@nhg.org.uk.

Policy Updates

We reserve the right to modify or change these guidelines at any time to ensure a positive and engaging community for all.

Thank you for being a part of our online community and for helping us maintain a respectful and supportive environment.
