In consultation with residents, we have developed our masterplan design for the redevelopment of the Curry Rise and Bray Road estate (now known as Millbrook Rise) and rehousing proposal for existing residents.

The plans will see 329 new homes, including replacement social rented and shared ownership homes for existing residents, as well as others for private sale.

Providing a range of properties, including 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom flats and 3 and 4 bedroom houses. We are providing private outdoor space for all, accessible routes within the site and enhancement of the communal garden area so that all generations of the community can enjoy the space.

Other benefits include parking for existing residents, visitor parking, electric vehicle charging, secure cycle parking, integrated bin stores and a caretakers’ office.

We are grateful for the community’s views on our proposals and for engagement at our consultation events. We have taken on board feedback where possible to deliver the best scheme for this site, taking account of the site constraints and ensuring we accommodate the needs and preferences of residents.

For further information on the history of the site and how our consultation proposal evolved in response to your feedback, please review the other information tabs on this website.
