Calling all residents who celebrate or commemorate Black History Month in the UK!
We would love to hear a little bit from you, in the form of a short passage or paragraph. Speaking a little bit about your experiences of Black History Month, any work you may do around it or how you and your friends and family might commemorate it. In addition, we would love to hear your reflection on this year’s theme, “Reclaiming Narratives” and why you think this is important, especially in the context of Black History season.
We are calling out for submissions from our residents in the hopes of creating some story posters to showcase the lives and stories of our residents, at the heart of NHG. Please feel free to send us any photos of you or your families to accompany your submission and we hope to create a collection of stories that can be displayed in the public spaces of our offices as testament to the diversity of our residents and the strength that lies in that diversity.
