New forum for our supported housing residents

What does meaningful resident involvement mean to you? To our new supported housing forum members, it means the chance to ensure effective communication, transparency and making a change.

The forum is made up of 12 residents and was set up to help amplify the resident voice and improve services for everyone. Whether it's insight on maintenance schedules, the latest on our green agenda or discussing ways to enhance communal spaces, forum members want residents to be at the heart of the decisions being made.

Its members gathered last month for their first meeting, where they all got an introduction to supported housing, the various roles within it, as well as the many branches which all fall under that part of the business. The meeting ended with enthusiasm and hope as members expressed anticipation for learning more about our decision-making processes, performance and future plans.

With a range of experience and varied backgrounds, all the forum members share one common passion of actively wanting to improve the homes and communities they live in.
