Community Culture Fund - Empowering residents and embracing diversity

The Community Culture Fund (CCF) is an exciting new initiative by the Resident Involvement and Engagement team at NHG. This is designed to empower residents to celebrate and embrace diversity, equity, and inclusion within our local communities.

The idea behind the fund is to create an accessible way for residents to apply for funding, fostering a sense of community and celebrating its diversity without the hassle of extensive paperwork and lengthy approval processes.

How does it work?

Every quarter, residents can apply for up to £250 to carry out a project or event that celebrates diversity and inclusion in their local community.

This could be anything from a gardening project, a community wellbeing activity or a resident estate party to help newly moved-in residents get to know their neighbours better. A total of £1000 will be awarded every quarter.

How can residents apply?

Applying is simple! Residents need to complete a form including the following info:

  • Details on the amount of money requested.
  • Info about the event or project planned.
  • How will the chosen event or project celebrate diversity and community?

A diverse panel including staff and resident panel members will review applications and help decide who is allocated the funds.

All completed applications should be sent to involvement@nhg.org.uk before our deadline on Monday 4 November

The next application window is:

  • Application window opens: Monday 7 October.
  • Application window closes: Monday 4 November
  • Review/Deliberation: Wednesday 6 November.
