We’ve had Christmas events at Kidbrooke Square, Bolney Meadow, City Park West and Factory Quarter.
Kidbrooke Square
We’re delighted with our first Christmas market at Kidbrooke Square held on Saturday 14 December.
Residents have started moving into the first phase of the development with half of the homes now occupied. We’ve been working hard to create a community there and recently collaborated with the London Mural Festival to paint the hoarding using local graffiti artists.
For residents’ first Christmas at Kidbrooke we brought them together for some festive fun. We had stilt walkers, a snow globe and photobooth all accompanied by a live DJ and street food.
We were so pleased with the turnout with so many residents and locals coming out to celebrate. It was a fantastic chance for them all to come together and make connections in the community.
Bolney Meadow
On Friday 13 December, we held a festive event at Bolney meadow with food, drinks, a Christmas raffle, and entertainment for kids. The celebration saw a good turnout from residents who thoroughly enjoyed the day and are looking forward to future events.
Residents got involved and offered their support in running the evening, and even some ex-residents also came along. We had a positive discussion around the community centre, which has reinforced our efforts to bring it back into resident use.
Factory Quarter
We had kicked off the fun on 10 December, with a Christmas party at Factory Quarter featuring a free raffle with fantastic prizes, made possible by our generous commercial tenants and contractors. Prizes included a Lenovo tablet, a festive Christmas hamper, free fitness vouchers, and an abundance of chocolates and drinks.
One of the most heart warming moments occurred when a resident who won three prizes graciously offered one to John, our resident gardener, resulting in thunderous applause from everyone. Additionally, the quiz was a hit, with all residents enthusiastically participating and fostering a lively, fun atmosphere.
The feedback has been really positive, with many residents expressing their enjoyment of the event. It was truly uplifting to hear residents share their joy and appreciation for a chance to celebrate together. Here are some comments from residents:

City Park West
That same evening, the residents and community at City Park West in Chelmsford enjoyed a Christmas Fair.
Organised by our estate operations team, it brought a fun-filled evening of Christmas joy featuring plenty of festive stalls, refreshments and arts and crafts. It also featured a live singer and DJ.
